Teddy Atkatz releases his first single as a solo artist (previously of NYCO). The title borrows and connects the history and identity or Rome with the use of “SPQR” instead or “Rome”.

SPQR is an abbreviation for Senātus PopulusQue Rōmānus (“The Senate and People of Rome”), it is an emblematic abbreviated phrase referring to the government of the ancient Roman Republic. SPQR is still used in the municipal coat of arms of Rome and as abbreviation for the comune of Rome in official documents.
