THE T26 LIMITED EDITION NEWSPAPER BOXSET. PRODUCED TO SHOWCASE A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN DIRECTION FOR THE FOUNDRY’S PRODUCT OFFERING AND ANNOUNCED AT ENGLAND’S ATYPI CONFERENCE.
All conference attendees received this limited edition large format boxset as a thank-you gift for coming to see our presentation, which included a 96 page newspaper that featured some of the latest font designs for the upcoming year, along with a CD and other assorted items, like stickers, napkins, posters and postcards.
The main catalog is printed on newsprint and the majority of the postcards were letter-pressed in Chicago at Rohner Letterpress.
We are honored to have our catalog as part of the LACMA “Digital Witness” exhibition - which runs from November 24, 2024 until July 13, 2025, and will then become part of their permanent collection.
The event examines the impact of digital manipulation tools from the 1980s to the present, for the first time assessing simultaneous developments and debates in the fields of photography, graphic design, and visual effects. Featuring over 100 works, the exhibition traces the emergence of distinctive digital aesthetic strategies, relationships to realism, and storytelling modes.
