Lula Café in Chicago's Bucktown will have an opening reception on August 24 from 6–9 pm to view their summer art show featuring artists' interpretations on the theme of car engines. Co-curator Anders Nilsen invited artists to come up with work which responds to the idea of a car's engine.

The addition of this astounding new material (1,257 shots, including entire new sequences), carefully restored and edited into the 2002 restoration, results in the closest rendition ever seen since the films 1927 Berlin premiere.
